Joseph Bitran, Enterprizer
Joseph Bitran has more than thirty years of international experience in marketing and management of major initiatives, including systems design, enterprise modeling concepts and applications, computer-based training and simulation systems, and facilitation consulting. He worked with financial, information, industrial, and governmental enterprises in a variety of national and business cultures ­ in the USA, Europe, southern Africa, and Israel. His current focus is business development, marketing and conceptual design of “expert solutions” and “intelligent tools” that empower enterprise managers and consultants to perform with speed and confidence. He is interested in policy planning, threat scenarios and response planning at national and community levels, bridging the gap between strategy and operations, and supporting implementation. Joseph lives in Highland Park, New Jersey, USA. He was educated at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Edinburgh University, Scotland.

Innovation Management in R&D – a pharmaEnterprizer Mini Workshop

During this workshop, participants will interact with pharmaEnterprizer®, a software solution created by Enterprizer Technologies. It supports managers and scientists in drug discovery, conceptualization and development of potential products, commercialization and marketing, as well as management of potential product portfolios, under various business, market and regulatory scenarios. pharmaEnterprizer® supports the entire process with embedded expertise together with built-in design, assessment, prioritization, optimization, and management reporting functionalities. It may also include built-in processes, such as:
* Market attractiveness evaluation
* Science attractiveness evaluation, including:
- Disease area attractiveness
- Technology attractiveness

* Risk Evaluation, including:
- Discovery Management incorporating customer-specific approaches
* Portfolio Analysis, including:
- Using uncertainty analysis to compare projects across a portfolio.

pharmaEnterprizer® supports the achievement of customer objectives, such as:
* Developing a Discovery Vision for a client’s research organization, including:
- Facilitated workshop approach
- Integrating partners’ philosophies
- Creating a unified Discovery Vision
* Embedding project attractiveness process into the research organization, including:
- Implementing working systems that allow all projects to be assessed in a consistent manner
- Undertaking a “Drivers of Value” analysis for each therapeutic area to identify key “Value Driven Milestones” in each project
